"There is a new story over at The Hollywood Reporter (registration required) regarding the recently announced Dungeon Siege movie deal. "Uwe Boll will executive produce the $50 million film with Shawn Williams of Brightlight Pictures. Boll also will direct the film, which he calls "The Lord of the Rings" meets "Braveheart." He said the script will be finished by June and the project will be filmed in Canada and Eastern Europe in fall 2004 for a winter 2005 release. "After filming horror movies 'House of the Dead' and 'Alone in the Dark,' 'Dungeon Siege' gives me the opportunity to do a big feature in a genre that I'm a huge fan of: fantasy adventure," Boll said."" Just thought I would post this, some people might not know about it... this text was copied & pasted from www.siegeworks.org
